I was born in a beautiful little fishing village just outside of Halifax, Nova Scotia. At 15 I was awarded an academic scholarship and moved to Brazil to study and learn the language/culture. It was there that I was pushed to explore my limits and open my mind to many things, including cuisine. I developed a real love for all of the fresh fruit and great quality meat. Since then I have travelled all over Canada and Europe enjoying many new tastes and smells and now I have found myself in Toronto studying International Studies at York University's Glendon College. I was drawn to Marben because of their commitment and passion to food mixed with a beautiful and laid back environment. I don't want to work at just any restaurant while I put myself through uni, I want to be somewhere I am proud of. I have found that in Marben. I'll see you there :)
